A common argument I hear against anybody with any sort of religious belief is that where you are born determines what you believe, and if somebody is born elsewhere they may have entirely different beliefs due to societal indoctrination. While there may be some partial truth to that argument, the fact of the matter is that at some point, anybody that isn't satisfied with ignorantly and blindly accepting whatever they are told needs to look for themselves and make the conscious decision about what they will accept.
believe what I do now because I wanted Christianity to be right and searched only for things to support it; in fact, in some ways the implications initially frightened me... But honest examination of the facts as they have been presented to me have led to an undeniable truth that I have come to accept, and that's what I hope to share with you here.

I'm telling you this because I want you to realize and understand that Christianity is not a blind faith based solely on the Bible, but is an evidentiary faith based on observation and reason. While of course the basis of the faith is grounded in the words of sacred scripture, extra-Biblical evidence and support is abundant and all around us for those who care to look. It's one thing to accept or reject something blindly, but it's entirely different to accept or reject based on evidence and reason. Ultimately the choice will be up to you and to you alone, but I hope that whatever conclusion you reach you can reach with support and reason, and not solely based on your emotions one way or another. This site isn't meant to be an exhaustive list of research, of course, but instead I hope it will be be a resource for you: If you have ever questioned the evidence of Christianity or its possibility of being reality, I hope it will be a starting point for you to begin your journey of discovering its truthfulness for yourself. If you have faith already but are curious where you can turn to find additional support of your faith, I hope it will be a resource for you as well. I believe that everyone who humbles themselves to discover the TRUTH of God and His Word will be able to one day come to know the righteous love and freedom that Jesus offers to all, and I pray that you will come to know His love for you as well.

In my own life, I can tell you that while I was born in the United States it doesn't mean that I or many people I know accepted Christianity as truth just because someone said to and left it at that. I was born into a household where one of my parents was an atheist/agnostic, while my other was a Christian, but religious beliefs were never really imparted onto me in any strict fashion so I was left to decide for myself. In fact, when my brother died when I was an early teenager, I questioned God's existence and became a self-declared agnostic, and would openly say so whenever I spoke about my beliefs. At the time, I, similarly to so many others that have faced the trials of life, came to believe that there was no evidence in support of the Bible, that instead the Bible was just a mere book of fanciful tales, and that we as humans are mere by-products of evolution flying through the cold cosmos en-route to an ultimately purposeless existence. It wasn't until many years later that I decided to look for myself and really question my own beliefs and the reasoning behind them that I began to understand that such a conclusion couldn't be further from the truth. I didn't come to
