King david's prayer alter found

From the video description:

"Host Erick Stakelbeck visits Jerusalem's Western Wall tunnels and a new excavation of an ancient Roman theatre. Plus, the story of King David's prayer altar, from the City of David."

For many years, people doubted the historicity of the story King David (yes, the same David from the story of David vs. Goliath) in the Bible, because they thought that he simply never existed. Excavations had been conducted over the centuries, however, it wasn't until archaeologists dug under a parking lot in Jerusalem that the finds really became interesting and compelling. The Givati parking lot dig in 2007 marked the start of many discoveries that are still being uncovered which only reinforce the Biblical accounts, with artifacts referencing many names overtly mentioned in the pages of scripture. This fascinating video illuminates some of those discoveries, including what could be the very alter that the legendary King David himself could have used for prayer.
